Emerson's Green 1990s-2000s properties already have cavity walls (typically filled or unfilled), so EWI isn't usually the right answer here. If insulation is the goal, we'd recommend a cavity-wall insulation survey first — it's much cheaper than EWI when applicable.

Emerson's Green is one of Bristol's newest suburbs — most of the housing has been built since the late 1990s, much of it on the old Mangotsfield airfield site. The dominant property type is the 1990s-2000s executive detached, often 4-5 bed with double garages, finished in coloured render at the time of build. These original renders are now 20-30 years old and many need refreshing — typically with a silicone over-coat system rather than full strip-down.
