Who we are
KD Plastering & Rendering Services ("we", "us", "our") is a plastering and rendering contractor based at 8 Roman Way, Hanham, Bristol BS15 3FH. We provide plastering, rendering and external wall insulation services to homeowners, landlords and developers across Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, KD Plastering & Rendering Services is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you fill in our quote form, contact us by phone or email, or book our services, we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your postcode and address
- Details about your project (property type, size, service required)
- Standard technical data (your IP address, the pages you visited, browser type)
How we use it (legal basis)
We use your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests — to provide quotes, deliver the services you have booked, and communicate with you about your project. We also rely on your explicit consent when you tick the consent box on our quote form.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or marketing to third parties.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or share your details with any third parties for marketing purposes. We share your data only with:
- Our scaffold partner, when scaffold erection forms part of your quoted works
- Our material supplier (Johnstone’s / Parex / K Rend / Weber), only when placing a product order on your behalf
- Google, but only if you accept cookies — Google Analytics receives anonymised usage data, and the embedded map on our contact page loads from Google. Reject the banner and no data reaches them.
- Netlify, who host the site and process the quote form you submit
- Our hosting provider (Netlify) and form-handling service, for the technical operation of this website
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry details and project records for up to 7 years for tax and contractual warranty purposes. Technical logs (IP, browser) are kept for up to 30 days for security and capacity planning, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any data that is wrong
- Delete your data (the "right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to our processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Cookies
The site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts unless you accept them on the banner. If you accept, we enable Google Analytics 4 and the Google map on our contact page; if you reject or ignore the banner, neither loads. We never use advertising or retargeting cookies.
