Warmley's 1930s semis are solid 9-inch brick — too cold for modern heating bills. EWI with 90mm graphite EPS brings the U-value down from around 1.7 W/m²K to 0.30 or below, and the silicone top coat keeps the maintenance low for the next 25 years.

Warmley is a small village community east of Bristol that retains a village feel despite the suburban growth around it. The surrounding estates have the more typical 1960s-80s housing — semis and detached with pebbledash that's failing.
