Stapleton has a mix of Victorian terraces near the Frome Valley and 1930s semi-detached housing further out. The Victorian terraces take strip-back to brick and silicone re-render; the 1930s semis usually need similar treatment but with less scaffold complexity.

Stapleton is one of those rare Bristol suburbs that genuinely feels like a village — there's a village green, a pond, a working allotment site, and the Frome Valley right on the doorstep. The housing reflects this: large detached period properties (Edwardian and 1920s-30s), well-kept family homes on leafy streets, and the modern new-build infill where the old hospital sites have been redeveloped.
