Brislington · BS4South Bristol suburb
Brislington sits on the A4 corridor south-east of Bristol city centre, with Victorian terraces around Sandy Park and Brislington Hill, post-war semis throughout the residential streets, and riverside flats along the Avon near the Paintworks.
Brislington is a long ribbon suburb running along the A4 Bath Road from Totterdown to the A4174 ring road. The housing stock varies dramatically by elevation. The lower parts around Sandy Park Road and the Bath Road have Victorian terraces and 1930s semis — these are often the trickier renders because of the narrow streets and limited access for scaffold. The mid-elevation residential streets (Brislington Hill, Eagle Road, Wick Road) have the bulk of the 1950s-70s semis with original pebbledash that's now failing. The upper parts around Broomhill and the A4174 have 1970s-90s detached and modern infill. The Paintworks riverside development has added a clutch of modern apartments and converted warehouse buildings that occasionally need sympathetic render repairs.

We hired Kyran and his team to skim 3 ceilings, getting rid of artex ceilings and are really pleased with the result, the price was reasonable and communication great.
Kyle was very skilled at skimming our walls and we are pleased with the result. We did need to tidy up a bit at the end, but this was acceptable. Thanks KD
