Keynsham is a market town in Bath and North East Somerset, roughly equidistant between Bristol and Bath, and the housing stock spans both traditions. Around the High Street and Temple Street there is a modest Georgian and Victorian core, some of it stone-built and some in conservation area. Beyond that the town is dominated by inter-war semi-detached housing and post-war estates on the Chandag, Park Estate and Queens Road sides, with a growing amount of modern development on the old Cadbury's factory site and the edges of the town.
