St George's Victorian terraces have lime plaster on lath walls — breathable, traditional, but prone to cracking along the lath joints after 100+ years. We patch with lime plaster (Arthur Hough or similar) where the substrate is intact, or board-and-skim with a vapour-check plasterboard if the lath's gone.
